About the role: Location: Miami Gardens, FL 33014
We are looking for a Mail Machine Operator on behalf of our client. This is a 6-month contract assignment. (W-2) You will be operating the equipment that sorts envelopes with customer payments based on business rules and delivers to the next processing step.

Key Responsibilities:
* Performs basic troubleshooting of equipment as needed.
* Operates high speed mail processing equipment to open envelopes, extract content, and image documents to process payments.
* Operates rapid extraction machinery efficiently to process exceptions that cannot be handled through high-speed equipment.
* Use vendor software to complete simple keying functions to apply customer payments or route change of address requests.
* Uses company systems and vendor software to perform simple research to apply non-complex payments and correspondence requests.
* Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED required.
* At least one year of experience operating mail or high-volume manufacturing equipment preferred.
* Knowledge of mail processing operations, postal regulations, and equipment maintenance.
* Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work outside of normal hours when necessary to meet business needs.
