FOOD SERVICE – DISTRIBUTORS – WINE SALES ONLY

High-end food distributor with a modern flair in search of an Outside Sales Rep/Brand Ambassador in California (focus: Silicon Valley)

The Company:

Our Client is an importer and distributor of healthy authentic Italian foods: they serve the finest restaurants, country clubs, hotels, caterers, culinary schools, specialty food stores and markets in 34 states around the country.

This is a very exciting time in this company; they are looking for a passionate and driven sales professional that can assist in maintaining and expanding the market on the assigned territory.

Position entails:

Create new leads in both retail and food service channels, Build and maintain healthy relationships with key account contacts, maximize revenue in existing accounts, Brand management, Travel as needed to meet clients and promote brand.

The Sales Representative/Brand Ambassador ultimately acts as the face of the company by delivering outstanding customer service and building strong relationships.

Job Responsibilities

• Promoting and selling a diverse, high-end product line.
• Sales Associates will adapt the process of cultivating and producing sales revenue through the development and growth of new sales and by increasing sales with existing accounts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts.
• Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.
• Close sales by building rapport with potential accounts; Showcasing product and service capabilities.
• Expand sales with existing accounts by introducing new products and services

Qualified applicants should possess:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in door-to-door sales is required

- Currently Lives in the Silicon Valley Area

- High energy and enthusiastic

- Clean well-groomed appeal, elegant and well-mannered.

- Ideal candidates would live in the assigned geographic sales area

- Candidate should have a good understanding of the assigned sales area

- Food Service sales experience, Cooks, Trade Show experience, and Wine Sales reps welcome

Requirement:

- Driver License and own Vehicle

- Passion for Food Industry and Gastronomy

- Knowledge of quality Italian food

- Knowledge of Italian is a plus

Monday morning on site: Mandatory meeting in San Leandro

Compensation & Benefits:

ABS $95-110k + commissions

The compensation includes weekly guaranteed base + strong commission plan

(2.5% of total sales, matching 10% of gross profit, paid once commissions exceed the guaranteed base).
